The spin-off series centered around Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead has officially announced its premiere date on AMC and AMC+, scheduled for the 10th of September.
Known as The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, this new show marks the fifth spin-off and sixth overall installment in The Walking Dead franchise. Director and executive producer Greg Nicotero recently stated that it is “the closest to a standalone show” that teh franchise has ever produced. The first season will consist of six episodes, picking up the story after the titular survivor finds himself stranded in France with no memory of how he ended up there.

When The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon debuts later this year, Reedus will share the screen with an ensemble cast including Anne Charrier, Adam Nagaitis, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, and Clémence Poésy, known for her role in the Harry Potter series. Poésy will portray Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group with a haunting history.
