Look: Sports World Reacts To Controversial Olivia Dunne News

Just a few weeks ago, LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne made headlines when she promoted Caktus.AI - an artificial intelligence product.

In a video on TikTok, Dunne claimed the product can help provide resources for use at the end of essays and papers. While name, image and likeness has been mostly celebrated, this NIL deal raised more than a few eyebrows.

Some suggested the deal tests ethical boundaries and flirts with promoting plagiarism. LSU even came out with a statement suggesting it doesn't tolerate plagiarism - without directly condemning Dunne for her promotion of the product.

The sporting world has been debating her recent deal. What’s funny is in corporate america, we are tasked to find optimized/expedited solutions (which is what this is)," said one fan.

"If you want to use AI to do your homework that’s your right and your business. So long as you accept any potential consequences you may suffer from a lack of quick and critical thinking of your own throughout life," added another.

"The universities use artificial intelligence to review our homework submissions. The playing field has been leveled," suggested a third. What do you think about the NIL deal?
