Phil Spencer has already immersed himself in Starfield, the highly anticipated RPG from Bethesda, and fans are openly expressing their envy. It appears that anyone can now become friends with the head of Xbox gaming by simply following him on Xbox. This revelation has led to the discovery that Phil Spencer is enjoying an early experience of Starfield. It’s certainly a delightful perk of overseeing Xbox that grants him the privilege to play games before their official release – a fact that surely took many by surprise.
“One Reddit user exclaims, ‘Gosh, I wish I could shell out 6 billion dollars for early access too!’ Indeed, if we happened to stumble upon a spare six billion dollars, it’s unlikely we’d prioritize its use for the betterment of humanity; instead, we’d probably divert it towards acquiring Zenimax just to gain a few months’ head start in playing a game.”
Interestingly, it has come to light that Pete Hines, the head of marketing at Bethesda, is also enjoying early access to Starfield before its official release. When Phil Spencer mentioned earlier this year that nearly every Xbox console used for quality assurance at Microsoft was running Starfield, it appears he could have extended that statement to include Bethesda employees as well.
“One user joins the conversation, expressing their frustration, ‘It should have been me, not him,’ accompanied by images from Yu-Gi-Oh that resonate with their sentiment. Another Reddit user adds humorously, ‘No wonder it’s taken so long; they probably forgot they were supposed to be working.’ Let’s be honest, if we had early access to Starfield, we’d likely get completely absorbed and forget about our day jobs too.
The highly anticipated game, Starfield, is set to release in less than two months, specifically on September 6. Those who are willing to upgrade to the Digital Premium Edition will have the privilege of playing the game five days ahead of the official release. Alternatively, Xbox Game Pass users on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles will be able to enjoy Starfield on launch day.
